Wall Duisburg-Marxloh
The mural project in the district of Duisburg-Marxloh is one of three projects going to be realized in 2000.

Duisburg-Marxloh situated in the north of the city is a quarter with special necessity of renovation. You can find the wall at the Kaiser-Konrad-Straße at a crossing of a Fußgängerzone.

The wall in Duisburg-Marxloh
There are contacts between Duisburg and Porto Alegre since some years. By means of the Local Agenda 21 both cities are able to organize a constructive exchange on many subjects of communal work.

The economic connexions between Brazil, the biggest country of Latin America, and Duisburg are numerous: imports of iron ore, direct investigations but also interests of exportation (look at the project Porto Alegre)

One aim of the mural project is to invite people to deal with the subjects of the Local Agenda 21 and with global aspects.
